The Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival is held at the historic Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, Tennessee. It began in 2015, and GOAL has been there every step of the way. Growing to 27,500 attendees in 2017, this two-day event is quickly becoming the JazzFest of the Nashville area. GOAL developed and manages the entire operations plan for this up and coming festival.
From portable restrooms to fences, tents, potable water, power, and signage, GOAL manages all of the key infrastructural elements at Pilgrimage. Beyond that, GOAL works closely with the City of Franklin, The Franklin Fire Department, Williamson County Medical, and the Franklin Police Department to ensure the safety of all of the participants and the surrounding community.
One of the larger operational pieces at Pilgrimage is the closure of Franklin Road, one of the busiest thoroughfares in the area. The GOAL team creates nearly a mile-long pedestrian walkway from the town of Franklin to the Park at Harlinsdale, and in collaboration with 14 officers of the Franklin PD, manages the pedestrian and traffic flow to and from the event site.
